Got it? Great, now that we understand how Warcraft reads the hotkeys. We can make our life easier by instead of Mapping those select keys to other keys on our keyboard (preferably closer to our spell hotkeys ;) .)
Basically, inside the red circle you choose your hotkey to remap to numpad 7. The blue circle is the key your remapping numpad 7 to and the green box under it is the modifiers that can be applied to it as well. An example of this can be putting RShift with G and that would be 7. The same applies to the teal circle and to Inventory 4,5 and 1,2. Now you don't have to use those pesky numpad keys making your life a whole lot easier and your pwnage a whole lot more possible.
IV - Hotkey Remapper
Basically, the point of this tab is similar to the Inventory, however you can remap your own personal hotkeys to anything. So if you want to make a hotkey that sends a message, you simply choose your button and type your message.
Then in game press the button and voila...
